Picture this. A small package arrives at your mailbox. You know that it was sent by a friend, who knows both you and books well. You know a book has been sent, but not which one. There's a thrill of anticipation that sends a shiver down your spine. Then you find the book itself: you study its cover; you flip through the pages and prepare for the moment when you’ll start reading it.
As you do read, another shiver goes through you, not only because you’re enjoying the book, but also because you realize why your friend thought about this book for you, or why your friend thought about you when choosing this book.
Finally, a third shiver: you can’t wait until you hear your postman again.
That friend’s name is “Cartola!”.
